Ken Murdock on the 2009 event: "We had a great turnout with about 120 runners, and about 40 bike racers. It was a bit chilly Saturday morning, but perfect for the racers, and they raved about the beautiful trails when they finished the race. That makes it all worth it to me. I just love everyone to experience the trails. And we made money to put back to the canyon and the amphitheater, how could it get any better?"
