About the Project

In 1996, the developers of Draper's South Mountain donated a partially built amphitheater to Draper City. For over ten years, the facility laid unfinished and mostly unused. With the assistance of Draper City, local residents came together, inspired by a common purpose and vision; completing the amphitheater and creating a family park and gathering place for all of Draper.

In the Spring of 2010, the Draper Mountain Park and Amphitheater was completed; a one-of-a kind outdoor venue for concerts and productions of all kinds. Many thanks are due to the donors who so generously contributed.

The Amphitheater opens this month with "The King and I" June 18th. Then, the official Grand opening is July 12th with the Utah Symphony!

The Draper Community Foundation is committed to continue raising dollars for playground, nature trails, gazebo and future concert series, etc.
